Our Journey

Our Story

The story of Moillasp begins in 2003, when our founder — a software engineer with a passion for building things that work — started developing desktop applications for industrial clients. The first project was a steel mill management system that ran production lines, tracked inventory, and managed payroll. It ran flawlessly for 15 years.

As the digital landscape evolved, so did we. The rise of cyber threats, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence pushed us to expand beyond software development. We built our own cybersecurity practice — not because we wanted to, but because our clients needed someone who understood both the code and the threats against it.

By 2016, we had established a dedicated security division offering penetration testing, SOC services, and compliance auditing. By 2020, we had launched our Innovation Lab — a dedicated team focused on biometric fusion, AI content moderation, and smart IoT security.

Today, Moillasp is a unified engineering firm with three equal pillars: Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Smart Technologies. We are still the same team that built that steel mill software in 2003 — just bigger, smarter, and more determined than ever to build technology that businesses can trust.

We started because we saw a gap in the market: most software companies didn't understand security, and most security firms didn't understand software engineering. Clients were forced to hire separate vendors who didn't talk to each other, resulting in fragmented solutions, security gaps, and wasted budgets.

We believed there was a better way — a unified approach where software and security were designed together from the beginning. So we built Moillasp to be that bridge. We started with software engineering, added security as a natural extension, and later brought in innovation to keep our clients ahead of the curve.
